This member of the Cucurbitaceae family was described by Monique Keraudren in 1965. It is found in north-western Madagascar, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some to much sun. The caudex might grow to 30 centimetres while the vines might reach 250 centimetres or more. The flowers are pale yellow and quite filiforme. Any additionally information will be appreciated.
