PSEUDOPROSPERO FIRMIFOLIUM

This member of the Hyacinthaceae family was given this name by Franz Speta in 1998. It found in Kap River Vally of South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The bulb can grow to five centimetres, the leaves reaches 30 centimetres and the white to pink flower 34 centimetres. The genera name from Greek; pseudo; 'false' and Prospero, another member of the family. The species name means 'strong leaves'. *) Accordantly to the latest taxonomic system; APG IV 2016, Hyacinthaceae is now part of the Asparagaceae.
