PHOLISMA CULIACANA

This member of the Lennoaceae* family was given this name by George A. Yatskievych in 1982. It is found in northern Mexico, growing on the roots of Euphoriaceaes in grit with no water and lots of sun - although I doubt it care. The caudex can grow to five centimetres in diameter, the entire plant from five to fifteen centimetres in height. The flowers are white with pink shading.
