PEPEROMIA MONTICOLA

This member of the Peperomiaceae family was described by Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel in 1843. It is found in Balnearo de Lourdes, SLP, Mexico. Give it a well-drained soil with plenty of water and some sun, and the green "mouse-tail" flowers will come. The caudex can grow to five centimetres in diameter, and the leaves, arising directly from it, will grow to seven centimetres or more, if the light are less.
