This member of the Asteraceae family was given this name by Maurizio Dioli and Tadesse Mesfin in 2000. It is found in eastern Etiopia, growing in a well drained soil or pure grit with some water and lots of sun. The stem can grow to three centimetres in diameter, the entire plant to 120 centimetres in height, and might be a bit too skinny to be a caudiciform at that time. The flowers are orange. The genera is named after the German zoologist, Dr Klein,1685-1759. The species name after the young Isabella; daughter; of Maurizio Dioli, for her contribution to the discovery of this species.
